Samsung Data Recovery provides easy and quick solution to restore Samsung deleted files. It performs well on retrieving deleted or lost contacts, sms, call logs, photos, videos, WhatsApp, documents and more from any Samsung galaxy phone/tablets(like Samsung galaxy S2, S3, S4, S5, S6, S6 edge, S6 edge+, Note 2, Note 3, Note 4, Note 5 etc.)
New data will probably overwrite the lost Samsung files, which makes lost data unrecoverable. Thus, you are suggested to turn off your 3G/4G/Wi-Fi connection and stop using your Samsung to avoid automatic updating and overwriting.
Step 1. Connect Device to PC/Mac.
After you have downloaded and installed Samsung Data Recovery on your PC or Mac, plug the Samsung device to computer with USB cable and run the software. Keep your device connected during the recovery process.
Step 2. Access Your Samsung Device.
Select wanted files to scan, or simply select “All” to scan all files on Samsung. Then enable USB debugging to make the Samsung device accessible. You have 3 options to do this:
– For Android 2.3 or earlier: Go to “Settings” -> “Applications” -> “Development“, then check “USB debugging“.
– For Android 3.0 to 4.1: Navigate to “Settings” -> “Developer options” -> Check “USB debugging“.
– For Android 4.2 or newer: Go to “Settings” -> “About Phone” < Hit “Build number” for several times until getting a note “You are under developer mode“, Then go back to “Settings” -> “Developer options” ->Check “USB debugging“.
Note: If you have done this before, just skip this step and click “Opened?Next…” to continue. When the Samsung phone/tablet is identified, click “Start” to begin scanning.
Step 3. Scan & Recover Samsung Data.
When scanning process ended, all recoverable files will be displayed in the scan result on the left side. It allows you freely preview data before recovery. Simply choose needed files and hit “Recover” to save them to your PC/Mac.
